About the chiropractor
Melanie Clark has been practising as a Doctor of Chiropractic for 16 years. She spent four years working in a busy clinic in Leeds and then transferred her practice to Chiropractic Plus, Haxby in 2008 and is now based in both the Malton and Easingwold Clinics.
During her time in practice Melanie has attended many seminars to develop her skills and techniques. She practices dry needling (acupuncture) , activator methods and has a particular interest in the treatment of pregnant women, children and babies. She also has an interest in sports injuries, as a result of her swimming background.
Melanie is passionate about helping people and providing quality chiropractic care. As well as easing your discomfort, she will also aim to address the underlying causes of the problem and help prevent future problems arising. Providing a friendly environment where patients can relax is paramount. Treatments are always designed to put the patient at ease, so that they can enjoy their treatment and the return to good health. By providing an hour long appointment for the initial consultation and then 30 minutes for follow up appointments, this ensures Melanie has plenty of time for treatment and to run through any additional advice required.
Melanie is registered with the General Chiropractic Council. Melanie is also a recognised provider with most health insurers. BUPA provider number: 30006031 and AXA PPP provider number: mc04384.
